Druid noob questions
ok, so im a druid
i finally managed to find the druid trainer, and spirit healer.
i noticed that the map is relatively useless, and shows no landmarks or anything, just a bunch of green - is that the way its supposed to be?
i read up on builds etc, and decided to go with a feral based build, so im set with that
what I really need to know now is, how do you remove skills from the quick skills bar on the bottom? I tried to take them off but it didnt work, so now i have it like half full because it has level one and two skills on it, which obviously i will now never use level one again - at least not usually....
also i heard leather is best for druids - but does leather have any advantages? it seems like armor is a lot better because it offers more armor, but is leather more effective for magic, or movement, or anything? it doesn't say so if it is....
and why would anyone choose cloth? its really weak - especially compared to armor - or mail that i have.
ALSO where is the quest to get bear form? and is that the only form you need a quest for? how do you get the other forms, and who do you talk to??
thanks

Probably the best yes, let you go melee and after a fight you can fast shapeshiftout and heal up go to next mob and start nuking, almost no downtime.

The thing you can do is that press up your spellbook (P) and then drag the higest rank of your spell over the current spell on your actionbar and left click and they will change places.

The armor is put this way 1.Cloth 2.Leather 3.Mail 4. Plate. Druids are limited to 2. So a druid can only use 1 and 2 of all these, leather got more armor then cloth thats why leather is better then cloth but yes, there is better cloth things aswell.

The classquest often starts at your Classtrainer who tells you to go to moonglade, but before some quest wasnt given out of your classtrainer so you needed to go to moonglade to check.
Hope it helped you some ;)

<-- 60 druid.
This is what i did. Spec into feral all the way to 60, you can manage to kill 3 things of the same lvl easy. In cat you can kill a monster and just jump out, rejuvination and jump back in.
Allways try to have 2 armor sets, one for healing and one for feral. You probably will have to heal in instances at some points. Try to get STR over AGI because you get more attack power.

depends, I have a 60 tauren druid with rare pvp set. you notice that the set has some +healing spell dmg and +intellect which makes it easier to heal in instances eventho you are feral spec.
also depends on your talent build.
the most capable talent builds ever made for feral and resto is
14/31/5 <-- my build ,for feral/resto, 0/30/21 nature swiftness do help much sometimes.

I prefered to go agi over str. I have so much agi that almost every strike is a critical hit. I suppose str would work but i love gettin the really high damage critical hits.

Yes. If you go feral it's more of a challenge to heal. Make sure you collect Int and +Heal gear. Heart of the Wild helps alot too.
