When you right-click on an item in bag, you usually 'use' it. Except if you are talking to a merchant, in which case you will sell it. Or if you are at the bank, in which case you will end up storing it in the bank. And the exceptions don't end there ... and there's no way of 'using' an item under those very common exceptional situations.

I didn't like this restriction or the fact that the right-click function changes depending on the situation, so I created an AddOn that unifies it all in one pop-up menu. While I was doing this I realized that the same menu could be used for various item dependent extra functionality options.

What it does:

It adds a pop-up menu to items. The menu is dynamic and expandable, much like the right-click menus of the Windows desktop icons. You can avoid getting the menu by pressing Shift, and you can get an extra hidden debug option in the menu by pressing Alt. You can access the configuration menu by opening the menu on an empty bag slot.

AxuItemMenus requires some tables, hooking and link functions from the popular Ace AddOn Function Library. In addition it works together with quite a few AddOns.

WoW Guru users will want to also download WowGuruItemMenu
