Changes in v4.30.20100 from v4.20.20100

- Fixed a problem displaying Tooltip information for Players from different Realms

- Fixed the way PartySpotter colours Tooltip text based on Player Class, and made sure it will be accurate from now on without further update

Well folks,

That's all from me - I'm giving up WoW and therefore won't be able to maintain my AddOns from now on. I'm starting a new job, and its just time to move on.

Thanks for all the support, and I hope you still find these AddOns continue to work for some time to come - otherwise you'll just have to find some other poor sucker to maintain 'em ;)

If anyone is interested the following AddOns will be orphaned :

/pspot -s < 8 - 36 >

e.g. "/pspot -s 12"
18 is the default value


- added a double check for people who have 'unexpected' table data errors when upgrading from previous versions
This may reset your local Party Colour to the default the first time you log in.

- new Combined Information mode showing Raid Group numbers and Class Colours (New default mode)
As with other modes use the Key binding to toggle through the viewing modes
or Right-Click on the new WorldMap Button
or use the following slash command
/pspot showgroups combined
You can still Highlight individuals Groups and other Group icons will revert to basic yellow dots
You can still Highlight individual players, the Raid Leader, or Friends/Ignores/Guild Mates
All the previous viewing modes are still available

- new WorldMap button labelled PartySpotter in top left of title bar.
Basically this is for people who don't alter the WorldMap, and for whom the Key-bindings don't work while the map is open :
Left-Click : Cycles through the main viewing Modes
Right-Click : Cycles through the main Highlight
<Ctrl>-Left-Click : Toggle the PartySpotter Map Key

- Player dots will now have a flashing halo when their Status changes based on the following rules :
Black - Dead and NOT Released Corpse
Grey - Ghost after Releasing Corpse
Red - In Combat
Pink - AFK
(The dots of Offline players should completely blink off and on)

- PartySpotter MapKey now always available when in a Raid and one of the compatible maps is open(WorldMap, AlphaMap, BFM)
So even when just viewing dots coloured by character class, you can highlight specific groups on the map by clicking on a Map Key button

- improved the tooltip responsiveness, as previous performance improvements gave no significant gain

- Raid tooltips now enhanced further to show more Raid information, including Raid Group, Level, Class, and status

- the Raid Group number for players in your local raid group are coloured as per the colour specified in the Map Key

- the tooltip name for players who have not released their Corpse is postfixed with (X)

- the tooltip name for players who have released their Corpse and are Ghosts is postfixed with (G)

- the player icons are now slightly larger and clearer than before

- cleaned up the localisation data.
Some phrases still need French/German localistaion - all help welcomed ;)

MAJOR MAJOR MAJOR RELEASE

Lots of improvements of existing functionality, plus lots of new extra features.

The new feature I use most is the ability to click on player icons on any of the maps to target a player.

Plus you can now track an individually highlighted player via a new minimap tracking icon (which can also be clicked to target the player)

Plus, someone wanted the ability to show/hide the Keys - Keybinding provided...

Plus, lots more...
